Our Press Secretary was called on the fact that they advertised (in a commercial) grossly incorrect information about how much money your candidate paid in taxes last year. This information turned out to be somewhat true. Our press secretary did post somewhat incorrect information about the taxes paid by the candidate in the commercial. As soon as we found out about the Press Secretary’s mistake, we took down the ad. Crump immediately paid the IRS the extra taxes with 3% interest to make up for the issue.
