Over the past 300-400 years, technology has improved a significant amount. Ever since the invention of the steam engine, the rate in which our society has been advancing as a whole had increased so much, and as we move on, we are finding new uses for things we already have, and we are always inventing new tools, methods, and electronics for a wide variety of different things. We use technology so much in our lives, that sometimes we don't even realize that we basically depend on it. As technology grows better and better, we all use it more and more. Most of the major inventions here have helped lead to where we are now, and without this technology, who knows where the world would be at.
